Hello friend! So glad to see you here! I hope these pages bring you and your child(ren) hours of creative fun! These are a compilation of easy access links bringing you to hands on activities and tutorials. You will need simple art materials like coloring crayons, watercolor paints, a simple watercolor artist pad, painting canvasses, acrylic paints, brushes, embroidery thread, etc. These activities are not exhaustive, but meant to be a springboard into further hands on activities.

Some Suggestions and Possibilities
From each month’s postcards and letters your child could make a journaling spread in a notebook. You could add to it as you begin collecting from each month. You could make small (pockets) on the page to contain double sided postcards, so you can pull it out to look at it and put it back in.
Each month, you could make a friendship bracelet made in the colors of the flag of that particular country. It can be a reminder about the people of that country and that friendship can be found all over the world. I have provided easy patterns for the Chinese ladder bracelet here from upper elementary - adult ages as well as a very easy bracelet that uses simple cardboard and a simple method that even a five year old could understand.
This bracelet was made following a tutorial below.
Notice it is in the Italian flag colors.
You can use your child’s interest in a particular part of the letter to be a springboard and encourage them to dive in deeper and research all about it. (learning more of the language, some of the history of the country, learning more about the animals of the country, etc.) Like why would there be an Italian wolf as the National emblem of Italy? Look into it. There’s a story about it.
