The following are helpful websites that I heartily recommend and have learned a lot from myself.
For Acrylic Painting Art Tutorials on Youtube
Tracie provides easy acrylic painting tutorials. Most beginners can follow her just fine.
Angela’s paintings are a bit more advanced as well, yet if you have had a little experience in painting, then they are very helpful.
Michelle’s paintings are a bit more advanced, yet still fairly simple to follow along.
The Art Sherpa is also very easy to follow, especially as you find her tutorials specifically intended for beginners. She also has entire courses with teaching the basics of acrylic painting from the ground level up and would be extremely helpful if you have absolutely no idea where to even begin.
Joni Young is a Canadian artist living in BC. She makes painting look simple and beautiful. At first, it may seem intimidating, but I have learned a lot from her and she is actually fairly easy to follow along with.
For Drawing Tutorials, especially for children, but if you are young at heart and willing to learn, it can be for anyone.
This is a dad who has been teaching for years. He draws along side with another person - most of the time, his own children. He shows that a drawing doesn’t need to be p perfect, but encourages the drawer to just do their best. Each person’s drawing is unique and he praises that. Really great for kids and adults alike.
For Bible Journaling
She also has her own website with lots of free printables, and an entire list of her suggested supplies. Which, by the way, I have purchased many of her suggestions and also can thoroughly recommend. Her own website is: www.scribblinggrace.com
I purchase a lot of my art materials from Hobby Lobby. So feel free to check their website out as well.
