Hope

This painting came out of an exercise where I was learning the angles and shades of the face, trying not to blend and smooth everything out. As a result, this painting is revealed. A girl who perhaps lives in South America or in South East Asia somewhere.  The light contrasts with the darkness, illustrating the verse from I Peter 2:9 “….He has called you out from darkness into His marvelous light.”
