This was a commissioned painting from at least 9 years ago now. I remember really struggling in trying to get their fur right. There were times I wanted to just call it quits. In spite of the 60+ hours spent on this, so glad I didn’t. It was a great learning experience, and remains a favorite painting of mine. Neutral colors and calming cats. Perfect for that quiet space.
