These blossoms remind me of the woods of Oregon. I wanted to paint some flowers representive of the ones that I knew as a child and young teen. These flowers filled my senses. Wild violets on the moss covered ground, wild roses, trillium flowers peeking their way upward in the shadow of douglas fir giants and wild columbine in the mountaineous areas near Mt. St. Helens.
